So... that was a lie

The Suits on Wall Street shorted GameStop in hopes of the company going bankrupt, which tanked the stock price. Shorting is an unethical scheme that has burned businesses and employees for years.

A group of degenerate investors from the internet forum, WallStreetBets, band together to invest, and thus saving, the beloved GameStop.

As the stock price surged, GameStop was no longer in danger of bankruptcy, forcing The Suits to cover their short positions dollars on the penny. Rather than admitting defeat, Wall Street doubled down. However, retail traders did not give up ground, force a short squeeze.  

As losses grew on Wall Street, Robinhood halted the BUYING of popular "meme" stocks. These actions were intentional acts to tank stock prices, losing millions for those involved in the movement.

We can't accept the blatant market manipulation in front of us because WE LOVE THE STOCK(s). As long as we hold onto GME and others, Wall Street will eventually need to cover their shorts.
